As if the divorce wasn't enough, Adam was dealt another devastating blow when his mother entered her last days of cancer. Being on the other side of the world and receiving this news sent shockwaves through his world. Balancing his professional commitments with being there for his mother became a daunting juggling act. It was a period of immense emotional strain and personal growth, as Adam chose to be there for his mother while also managing his own well-being. Most importantly, tending to the most important person in his life, his son.

The uncertainty surrounding his residency status added additional stress and made planning for the future more difficult. However, he later found that this personal challenge was a blessing in disguise.
As an Australian citizen seeking a U.S. working visa, Adam faced an arduous journey during the pandemic. Determined to pursue his business ventures and overcome visa restrictions, he embarked on a challenging quest, traveling through nine countries in search of a United States consulate that was not only open but was also filing 3rd party nationals. This proved to be a longer than anticipated adventure. From Australia to Guatemala and Mexico, Poland to Germany, Adam found himself navigating uncertain circumstances and bureaucratic international hurdles. However, fate landed him "stuck" in Croatia during the pandemic, leaving him stranded far from his intended destination. Yet, true to his resilient nature, Adam used this setback as an opportunity for creative adaptation. Drawing on his IT roots and digital marketing expertise, he harnessed the power of online platforms to scale his business and regain his footing.
